Hey Guys
These Will Go On Sale Still Scheduled For 7PM.
I have double checked the remaining stock and my own personal one, once blown into, they do Vent.
I also recieved an email explaining how this firing button works. Here is the full explanation of the firing button on The Manhattan.
Micro Arching is the cause in most mods getting excessively hot, hot button or hot sides and massive voltage drop. Micro arching is caused from a bad ground or overloaded ground mixed with oxygen in the tube.
So this is how we fixed the issue:
1. We use very tight threads to give better electrical conductivity and to keep as much oxygen out as possible.
2. We use a Delrin isolator to almost encase the entire top contact to ensure no micro arching.
3. We put the gas expansion holes on the bottom button assembly. In the event the battery goes on thermal run-a-way and vents, typically the battery vents on the negative side as that is where the heat becomes the most intense in these Lithium batteries. The negative side melts first.
4. We manufactured the Firing button to have a snug fit but not air tight. Only half of the switch is grounding at a time so the other half is letting the tube vent. We run tight air to balance between gas expansion and regulating the amount of oxygen in the tube. When blowing through the tube it should be semi-tight not free flowing.
Thank you. Amir
