Dropped down to 7mg :D

Well, i have been on 7mg for 3 days now and i feel great, i made a jump from 18mg to 7.2 in one go, and i feel really proud of myself just had to tell everyone

Well done, it doesn't take the body long to adjust, I've done it a lot slower but what I mixed today was at 3mg. Dave

Well its changed the flavour of my RY4 mix somewhat, but i think that maybe lack of steeping, i am currently vaping my take on a pluid clone, so it contains a lot of aniseed, so the throat hit is kinda there, but i am not a fan of throat hit anyway.

I see, throat hit was the main thing for me when I smoked and now is a massive part of vaping. The reason those little NRT tubes did not work for me was the lack of throat hit.

Good effort though, if you get to 0 nic will you stop vaping?

TH decreases with nic %.
My nic decrease happened when I started using more efficient atomizers. In particular the BT-804, even at .06% or less the flavour is outstanding and you will feel the volume of vapour as it pours down your throat, but it is not a TH like an 1.8% juice would give. ( In this case, 1.8% loaded in the Bt-804 can bring a tear to your eye...be careful.)

Got no 18's left now sorry, i diluted them down and added more flavour!

And if i get down to 0 nic, i won't be stopping vaping! i actually think i could probably drop to 0 quite quickly, i dont think it was the nicotine that kept me smoking, it was the physical habits assosiated with it, but gonna stick at 7mg for a while, then probably drop to 4mg and see how it goes.

I did it gradually. I started at 18mg but that was always too much for me. I stayed at 12/14 for a bit then started to lower it gradually. For me the real wall was getting below 8mg, that seemed to be the amount my body liked nic wise and it took some will power to keep going lower. It was worth it though. I'm now around 5mg (ish) and pretty sure that I can continue to lower it gradually without even noticing.

I messed up at one point thinking I could go 0nic without issues. I couldn't I haven't been brave enough to try again, but I think that my smoking related habits have now been 100% replaced by my vaping ones, so 0nic should be less of a challenge

Some people seem to be more addicted to the nic than others. I think I am another one where the habit was more addictive than the nic. Don't rush it though, going 0nic showed me that I am addicted to the nic even if not as much as many are.
