I recently nought evod 650 kit from vape escape. With moderate use the battery died from a full charge within 5 hours. Is this normal or do i have a dud battery?

Sounds about right, but it also depends on how much you used it in them 5hrs and what resistance carto/clearo was on top....lower the resistance the more power it needs so the quicker the battery drain, the higher the resistance the less power it needs so the battery will last longer.

agree with Romlee ,hence bigger mah would have been better 1100mah,but 5 hours is not to bad, unless you have only one battery then ,suggestion get another

Ok thanks. I have 2x1100 mah kit on order from fasttech. I will keep an eye on the 650 battery cause 5 hrs might have been generous and my wife is a light vaper. But we do have 1.8 ohms atomizers

A 650 with 2.2-2.4 Ohm atty is good for about half a day, an 1100 with same atty will give you a full day.
I would say 4-5 hours is about right for a 650 with a 1.8 Ohm atty.
