Ok a day of full use on the Davide and I love the capacity, so nice to fill up once a day.
But I find the flavour is definitely lacking compared to the Evods.
There's a harsh tone to the Davide that the Evods don't have and the Evods allow more of the sweetness of my liquid through.
Is this normal, anything I can do to improve the taste on the Davide?

Re-wick the heads maybe Kibbs with some Ekowool . . . see if that helps, or try using an Evod head in it perhaps?  |

Have you blocked any of the holes on the base kibbster i have davides mini, mini protank & evods & i love the davide vape but i have to have 2 of the 3 holes blocked to get a decent draw. edit: sorry protanks minis given away as was not keen on them |

This is a Davide though Perpetua. Didn't think they were identical to the Protanks. |

kibbster i also found that with a davide the heads make a lot of difference i changed heads on mine & washed the ones i took out, & for 4/5 days the vape got worse, after checking/trying everything else i realised i get a better vape if i use short centre post heads.

Ah just tried and it's much better with a recoiled Evod head! Thanks Perpetua Not loads of flavour but new head and the harsh tone has gone, much smoother with an Evod head! |

The heads that came with the Davide are long post but I've got short and long head Evods so using a short post at the mo. |

kibbster I have about 20 of the long post heads & find that when using them theres hardly any taste but when i use short post heads the vape is brilliant, i only have 4 short head posts at the moment until my fasttech order arrives it should not be long now.
