But when I got this I was surpriced by how comfortable and compact it is I just sold my Touchwood 18350 because I wanted a bigger version and the dark wood rather than the lighter version....what's the height and width on the 18650? And how much of a brush up does it need? It's 9.5cm tall width just under 2.5cm. The wood looks in pretty good nick and still quite dark. Guess you could stain it or what ever (sorry don't know wood care). The brass could also do with a polish but again is in good nick. I will upload some more pics tomorrow

I would have had it but I managed to get hold of an 18500 which was what I wanted originally. If anyone's unsure about this all I can say is a Touchwood is a 'must have' item!

I'm not sure myself, but I think V1 was only VERY early models, I've only seen the insides of a V2. I am NOT expecting an unblemished MOD, unlike Shineys, which scratch and mark and look very used, for ME a Tochwood could only be improved by handling. Any problems with the fire button on yours, I know they are very "simple" switches, and am happy to mess with one, just wanting to know of any issues before I commit to my first Mech Mod.

Haven't actually opened it up myself so not sure what the internals are like. It does fire everytime, though I did find that the switch does need to be pushed quite hard down to make good contact. Never used another touchwood so don't know if this is normal. Im guessing it could be that the contacts just need a good clean.

Thanks for saving me £50 keepitgoin. I'd decided to buy it tonight if it was still there when I got home.
