Ok, so my FastTech order arrived today.. i figured i would get my own starter kit there since i was in no rush & it only cost £16 roughly. The order arrived in a good time from china, 16 days in total but for the price, it is worth the wait! everything is in immaculate condition, nothing bent, wobbly or rattling. I ordered..3x iClear 16 clearomisers 2x 900mAh EVOD Batteries 1x Charger 1x Needle Bottle for filling I have removed the rubber heads from the iclear16s, unscrewed the tops off & filled them with juice.. not all the way to the top mark, but just under. When i got the clearomisers ready, i clicked one of the batteries 5 times and it lit up, i thought "wow, it has come with a full charge!" but sadly, i don't think it did.. i sucked & nothing happened so i clicked 5 times again to switch off & headed over to my nearest USB port to charge! I plugged the battery in, not too tightly screwed on & a red light appeared on the charger... indicating it was charging. I had to be out, to meet a client & hearing the horror stories i didn't want to leave the battery charging while i was away, so 30 mins later i unplugged it until i returned. Now, i have just got back in, i have gone to charge the battery & it now goes red & green, changing roughly every 5 seconds.. i did a quick Google search & it seems common.. Anyway, i unplugged this battery and went with the other i got.. the red light was on for a good 20 mins.. now red/green every 4-5 seconds Questions..Do i need to do anything to the clearomisers now? or are they ready to vape? Do i need to suck it for a bit until it works? Is it common for chargers to blink red/green with batteries? How long do they take to charge? i have it in my head 3 hours, don't know why.. Do EVOD/Ego batteries come flat from fasttech? Do they flash when nearly flat etc..? No real info on the site or with the product.. Any other advice? Parts i ordered..iClear 16.. www.fasttech.com/products/1384000Battery.. www.fasttech.com/products/1424310Charger.. www.fasttech.com/products/1290800Bottle.. www.fasttech.com/products/1295001Thanks!

YOU need to keep the button pressed whilst you're having a pull on the e-cig.
You are doing that aren't you?

I presumed with clicking it 5 times it would be switched on & auto until switched off lmfao Thank god for the newbie section! Next question... popping sounds? Is this because they have been sat all day with no use? Should i hold the power button for a bit until it stops? lol

Cas when you plug the charger in to the wall the light on the plug shoes green this shows power is there, then the light on the usb charger shows green initially & within a few seconds will change to red, this will pulse red/green until the battery is fully charged & then change to solid green, once it changes to solid green you need to disconnect the battery from the charger. Charging is usually between 2 -3 hours, it is advised not to leave batteries charging while unattended.

Exactly what Di said, and Des said for that matter! And get yourself on Ft and Order some replacement heads for the Iclear 16s before they break up for holidays and it all goes t*ts up for about 3 weeks! Oh and welcome to vaping Cas, you'll never look back as long as you stay armed and ready! Cheers Si

Cas firstly welcome to AAEC I've only been vaping a few weeks and in my opinion your in the right place for good friendly advice from good friendly people. So did you decide to quit the stinkies full stop, place an order with fasttech, waited16 days then started your vaping journey ? Just wondering if you carried on smoking while you waited as I would probably have lost the appetite to start with ecigs had I had to wait. Big thumbs up to you if that's how you did it. I just did an impulse buy of a starter kit in my town centre, I'd mulled it over but didn't want to commit then one day passing I just went in on impulse. Not touched a stinky in 5 weeks now.

No, i just carried on smoking.. i have a bit of bakki left, i will use that tonight before bed and go for it tomorrow.. i have no doubt these will work, could go crazy on them now i actually know how to use them.. It's a good job my friends/family don't either, i was like "check this out!" .. "oh wait, must be flat" lmfao I was just planning to quit once these arrived, then buy spares for the 16s from the UK. I think 3 of them + 2 batteries will see me by until another order from fasttech arrives... if not il go homebargains or order from paradise for the packs with battery+clearo+charger until they do arrive Good work on 5 weeks! shows how helpful these things are!

Yes they started stocking them this week mate, they'll sell out quick because they're a very good price, but your existing heads will last you well until they turn up and far beyond that. They do have a very good lifespan but its a proper PITA to recoil them so nearly everyone considers them to be disposable. Best mini clearomiser on the market though in my opinion. There's nothing at all wrong with the batteries you got, but if your buying more/spares consider some Variable Voltage ones such as This or even This and if you want to take 5 steps at once consider one of TheseWith VV you can adjust the power to suit the juice and really make the iclear sing!

Well done, Cas! Just to add, when you do put another order in, add another charger or two to it. As it's good to have at least two & not rely on just the one.
