Can someone explain this to me please?
Im looking to set up the K1 (killer clone) but I have been reading it needs a floating centre pin? I put it on my mods and it seems as if the air can't be drawn in as it appears to be drawn in from the bottom of the 510 connector.

a floating center pin on a mod refers to the positive pin being adjustable, allowing for an atomiser to sit flush with the top of the mod. If your mod doesn't allow air flow through the 510 connector when flush, then you need to screw the floating pin up to give a gap between the mod and atty for airflow. Saying that, floating could also mean sprung making it easier than having to screw it in and out.

Ok I see, so raise the tank on top to allow air to come in from the sides of the 510. But that does not help with this K1 as the air is drawn from the bottom? It has the wholes at the sides like a protank for example but if I put my finger over the bottom it is impossible to get a draw?

Does the atty take it's air through the center of the positive pin? if so, unless it has a slot to either side, it won't be able to get air when connected to a mod.
Maybe easier to help if you can get a pic of the base?

What mods have you tried it on? If you look at a Magneto for example there are channels that all air into the base of the atty. A Vamo doesn't (that I can see) Not sure if that helps or not

Oh posh gear! I'm not that familiar with them, do they have any air channels in the top?

The holes on the K1 are exactly the same as the original protank which works on either device but when I cover the bottom 510 connection on the protank it takes air from the side holes unlike the K1 which won't let me draw on it

Tried an airflow adapter?
I got a protank clone from FT the other day that wouldn't fire on my vamo until I screwed one of these on and then it was off
