6 months and............

..........i'm going on holiday.

its been 6 months today since i last smoked a real cigarette.  i switched to my ecig and once i found a set up and juices i liked, i haven't looked back at all.  there has been one time - just one - where i really thought about having a real cigarette but i didn't 

anyways, i realised last week that not smoking must have saved me some pennies as i've managed to save enough to take my son to cyprus for a week next month

for the last 2 months i've been trying to tackle the weight gain (not caused by giving up the stinkies. its been creeping up for 2 or 3 years whilst my ME and fibro has been bad......my diet never changed but i can't exercise much now. stoopid of me not to adapt the food intake accordingly.....).

so, 6 months no cigs AND 10lb lard lost in 8 weeks.

i really am amazed at the way things have turned out. i smoked cigarettes for over 25 years and thought it would be difficult in some way without them. it isn't. i can't say that my health has improved without the stinkies as i have a couple of chronic conditions but i'm actually going away for a week so even though i feel as rough as a bear's at the moment, i'm feeling pretty proud of myself
