ginge7289 I think they'd give a deadline date, they usually do in these cases. For example the health warnings on cig packets. Wen they changed that it was a case of from such and such a date. Fingers crossed though common sense will prevail and someone will actually do some real research. The government just want there cut of a massive market.

From what I've read ginge7289 anything passed on the TPD would not come into effect until 2016. If I'm wrong someone will be along to correct it.  Might be worth negotiating with Super-Shiny though... he'll buy anything!  |

I would imagine there would be the usual 2 - 3 years of paperwork before we would see any impact ... but I personally can't see it going against us .... the main objectives of this bill appear (to me) to be focused on the tobacco industry with ecigs as an afterthought .. I reckon that there will be too much opposition to the ecig part that they will not want to jeopardise the whole bill just to get consensus on ecigs part. .... or maybe that is all wishful thinking on my part?
