I think it depends to some extent on the way you like to vape. I started on 24 and went up to 36 as I just like the occasional belt, others like to chug away more and go to lower nic juices. You can take in the same amount of nicotine either way over a day. I get though less juice now than when I started and I think your dependency on nicotine gradually reduces over time as you are not taking in all the other stuff in tobacco that enhances addiction.

As @johanino says, if you do find the 24mg too strong, you can always dilute it with pure Vegetable Glycerine. You can buy a 100ml bottle of Glycerine from most chemists for about £1.20 or a small bottle from most super markets in the baking section for about 50p

I used to smoke 20 rollies a day, started with 18mg samples, went up to 24mg then 30mg as something was missing. Found 30mg harsh but it got me completely off the stinkies.
7 months later down to 18mg during the day and 12mg in the evening when I can vape more. But have a bottle of 30mg for those times when I can hardly vape at all.
Its completely down to the individual.

just a thought, if you do decide to dilute the 24mg, then to regain or even enhance the flavour just get the relevant concentrate for the same flavour a couple of drops should see you right.
