My evod tank leaked into my battery and it has shorted.
anything i can do?
i have tried to dry up the top of the battery with some cotton buds and have left the battery in a warm area to try and dry it out.
might this work? or will it never work again?

Ejuice shouldn't cause a battery short as it's non-conductive. If it were we'd all be getting shorts and most ecigs wouldn't work at all.

Hi Snout
You could try leaving it in some uncooked rice facing downwards in a warm place then see if that helps(rice absorbs moisture)

snout71Like Mev says juice is non conductive, I used to have an ego that would just give up the ghost for no reason (later found out it was just the overrun protection kicking in or whatever.) I just used to put it on charge and if the lights came on would leave it for a cycle. Alway seemed to work.

so do i just need to dry it out? It sounds to me like another problem with the battery and not that it's got ejuice on it, unless the juice as been made with water (which it shouldn't be). What battery is it you're having the problem with ?

You could try leaving it in some uncooked rice facing downwards How do you make the rice all face downwards? Grain by grain?

snout71 .. check that the silicon seal around the positive pin of the 510 connector of your battery is intact. This can be damaged by screwing your clearo on too tightly and although eliquid may not be an electrical conductor (I don't know one way or the other), if it did leak into the internals of your battery who knows what damage might ensue?
