Kanger Protank 3. Dual coil. Just announced.

The pics look suspiciously like a protank 2 with 3 photoshopped on to me. The pictures of the coils are identical to standard protank coils. The Aspire and Davide dual coil heads look very different (but look identical to each other). Although it would be nice if the coil design is the same as normal protank heads as that should mean backwards compatability

In the pic it does look as though there is a lot of wick popping out the wick holes so maybe they have squeezed both coils in a normal head which would mean Perpetua that they would work in older protanks.
Super-Shiny if they come how they look in the pic they will be able to be re coiled but with res non res i am guessing.

Just aswell i have over 300 pre-made res/non res wires and loads of other wires with a Zapper

You don't know what you're missing mate ...  double coils = more juice = more flavour, bigger TH and more vapour

The burnt rubber taste could be down to the little gasket at the base of the head being burned by the trapped leg of the coil. This can be avoided by using a non res/res wire to coil.
These pics look interesting. From 1st glance it would appear as though they've just stacked one coil atop another. This would make it the first dual coil clearo capable of being easily recoiled.
In terms of backwards compatibility we'll have to see if the base of the air tube is higher up than the standard model. If it is then these new coils could cause problems in old devices due to the stacked coils being higher up and striking the air tube.

Judging by the picture of the heads they are taller so i would say they won't work with old protanks etc as they will be to tall and will hit the inner tube and not screw in fully.

It deffo just looks like stacked coils judging by the amount of wick and how tall they are.

Time will tell i suppose

My (now old hat) Protank v1s are hitting the spot, why should I buy a new tank that costs me money, and then drinks more juice just so that I can fog up the dining room even more when I'm on my laptop!?

Let's hope it's better than the Protank 2. I went back to my original Protanks, on my provari the draw on the Protank 2 was so tight it was not a nice Vape
