And believe me I have loads :-) Just venturing into the dark world of coiling. Working away on my igo w and happy doing that. Today I pulled a head out of a vivi nova tank to see how it works went to put it together again but can't for the life of me see where the coil legs are supposed to go. Any explanations please? Make them like a ten year old can understand :-) Also, been seeing a lot of stuff mentioning micro coils and seen some stuff on them. How do they work when each coil seems to be touching another coil ? Does this not cause it to short? Only asking cos I thought two micro coils in the igo would be good. Thanks guys and gurls.

One leg down the outer rubber part and one leg inside the rubber part and then put the metal part back inside the rubber part.

Coils touching each other is no big issue because electricity likes to follow the Path of least resistance, so it finds running along the cable is the easy option Compared with the poor connection offered by jumping across to a neighbouring coil. A short is possible, normally on a new fresh coil, once its been heated up the Surface tarnishes and reduces the connectivity on the surface and with it the Risk of a short developing.
