FastTech...........HONESTY ?

Right, I've been following the FT related posts as I am waiting for an order supposedly 'shipped & tracked' 2 weeks ago. Hk Post issued warnings about the shipping of 'restricted items' weeks ago, so I avoided the batteries & bought a few other bit's.
HKP restriction's are basically the same as those imposed by R Mail for whatever reason be it fire hazard,anti-terrorism etc it doesn't matter, dems da rules !  It clearly states that anything that could be flagged as suspicious by X-Ray ie. resembling or shaped like a battery, should be clearly labeled as to the contents & packed so that it can be easily opened and resealed by security. An earlier post showed a statement from FT proclaiming that they never give out 'false' tracking numbers and that they had "unprecedentedly recalled" some packages only to send them straight back out again. I'm not bothered if that's true or not although I wonder if said parcels were actually rejected by HKP ! This is the same company that has been repeatedly deceiving airport security scans
by masking lithium batteries with tinfoil ! (daft or what?).Surely it was only a matter of time before the s**t hit the fan ? Now FT staff are running around like headless chickens fobbing off frustrated punter's & and no doubt bracing for a raft of Paypal claims. Whilst they continue to sell the same product's. I don't blame customer's looking for bargains, that's human, I do blame FT for being greedy and deceitful and selling items without the proper shipping facilities in place and so causing the massive backlog in the first place, all in the name of the $/£ Rant Over.

I think there has been a backlog due to the recent holiday , as has been said numerous times you'll need a little patience if ordering from China , especially if you're using the free shipping option .

National Hol & other firms are OK.     As I said, "Tracked" also registered so not free option. I don't think you read the post, sorry if I went on a bit, but I thought I was getting my point across. Obviously not !  Delay caused by FT NOT adhering to the rules. Duh !

Lenny a lot of peeps, myself included avoided ordering batts due to the restrictions. But we all now have to wait indefinitely through the bad business practice of FT. Or else get dosh back and buy in UK in time for Christmas ! Some folk have been getting fobbed off right up until the Paypal time limit. Check other boards, cheers.

Totally agree with you fast tech haven't been honest I have had problems but 6 weeks and my order as arrived don't really no wats wrong and I have never had a problem with them in the past but I mailed and ask them to be honest and stop fobbing us off with excuses .

You are right, there statement is that because they are owned by ebay and ebay has a ban on e cigs that anything e cig related you won't be able to make a claim.

Just checked with someone who confirms they DID get PP refund as they had been given the runaround by FTech (surprise).
All they had to say was "Item not received", details of the transaction would have been on invoice.

Not just FT thats at it Vaporbreak is doing the same . I placed 2 orders a week apart and got tracking numbers the other day both orders shipped the same date and time lol
I opened a paypal claim now so the balls rolling for when the time is up and claim the refund

What other Chinese firms that use use the cheapskate postage option are unafected by the back log? Your order may be Tracked but it is tracked using the cheapo postage .. so it was still the free option unless you paid DHL

As far as I can see all the Chinese supplier that use Hong Kong post are having problems .. I ordered gear from Health Cabin before my last 3 Fasttach orders but the only one that hasn't arrived is the Health Cabin one as Greendollar say's seen it happen every time they have a decent holiday .... If you are not prepared to wait between 3 and 6 weeks for cut price vaping kit I don't think buying from abroad is for you TBH

Wrapping loose lithium cells in tinfoil, genius idea that ! Understandably resulting in HKP rejecting all packages from FT until they complied. And FYI, since the National Day I have placed & received an order from HK containing two electrical item's with batteries installed, SEVEN wk day's to my door ! I have never had to wait more than 14 wk day's from China... till now !

Whatever the issues of this particular instance are @frankiestine, then you've been very lucky . . . I've waited 4/5 weeks in the past for free China shipping, even without a holiday to delay delivery. If you've not paid for DHL or EMS shipping, then ' tracked ' delivery means diddly squat in all honesty.
