Confirmed - Alternative LSE/GLV meet 9th Nov

Seniorphil on UKV has organised a meet in London this Saturday. With the sad cancellation of the regular LSE meet (despite alanfinal's brave efforts) many of us are left with a pass for Saturday night but nothing to do.

The venue is the Prince of Wales Feathers, Warren Street. www.theprinceofwalesfeathersw1.co.uk/ We will be arriving from 4pm. We have a first floor room (the Orangery) booked for our use, but we are asked not to vape downstairs.

Phil has been to look at it and reports
"Toilets are on the second floor. Food served until 9pm. Posh nosh creeping towards £10, or McDonalds opposite the tube station. Beer is about £4 a pint."

Hi Chris

It does look a nice place, but I am worried by his last post on UKV. He says the landlady said if anyone objects we will have to leave. Sounds ominous.

That was the Shaston not the Feathers Blownupdolly. The room at the Feathers is upstairs BTW

Yes, I just read that. So that's me out definitely.

I am considering giving up on meets to be honest. Too much physical pain and too much hassle for someone in my predicament.

Yes, he was Julie, but the truth is, it is extremely painful to do, which ultimately ruins my evening.
I have just got to get used to the reality that I can't go to certain places. Not mine or anyone else's fault, just a fact of life for me.

I hope it all works out for you all though. It is always good to have more than one option for venues anyway.

I don't like the look of the Vype bar as I think Barry is right. They won't be keen on punters going there with better devices than they sell!
