I have no allergies to either PG or VG. What I'm saying is PG dry's my mouth too much. This is why I always mix my own to 50/50. 70/30 is far too much PG for my liking.

I know PG conveys the flavour better and VG can be a bit claggy but rather that than dry mouth and cracked lips. Shame really as I've just bought 30ml of this exceptionally delicious vanilla custard that I can't use.

That would be PG that many people have some degree of an allergic reaction to rather than VG (which is Glycerine which is used to treat sore throats).

I got lots of mouth sore and ulcers until I switched all my vaping to 50/50 juices - some degree of reaction to PG is quite common

I found a solution, a temporary compromise.

Provari topped with a Gennie full of homebrew 50/50
Touchwood topped with a Gennie full of VC 70/30.

Alternating between the two. Life can be hard but I'll battle through.

The only side effect I have had is being more thirsty and if I didn't drink something before going to bed I could wake up with a sore throat which seemed to go once I had a cup of tea. I have been lucky that the ratio does not make much difference to me but I am normally with drink all through the day now .

plot69 another alternative would be to add a bit of VG to the ECW mix, not enough to bork the flavour too much, but just enough to improve the PG/VG ratio....try it with a few mls, you may be surprised at the result
