Too late now poochops, have just order the plus from cloud9. I really hope I've done the right thing and not wasted my money lol.

So I ordered the plus last night. Was wondering would I have to lower the nic level in my juices? I mix at 14mg at the moment but I feel I could maybe go a bit lower and not notice.

Have any of you had to lower your nic in a Kayfun, Super-Shiny, ginge7289, poochops, archiecat?

iLardyboy i used to have 70pg/30vg @ 24mg but not any longer, i use 50/50 @ 16mg now, if i put 24mg in the Kayfun it hurts my throat too much.

So I wonder if 14mg would still be ok, maybe just change the PG/VG ratio?

Try it first iLardyboy and see how it goes, if it hurts either knock your PG down or nic levels down.

I was a heavy smoker and now am down to 8/9 mg with my Kayfuns.

I've been gradually lowering my nic over the months any way, started on 18s and 24s, but now I'm on 10s and 12s, I think you'll be fine on 14mg but the kayfun will use more juice than a protank, and the main thing is you will probably use it more at first anyway because it's such a good vape and a bit of a novelty as well! You could drop to say 10mg and probably wouldn't notice

I still vape 18 - 20mg in the kayfuns, however I have 18mg in my penelope and its kicking my head in lol. Nic OD!!!!!

I plan on working my way down too. I'll give it a go and see if it's too much for me.

There can be a massive difference in the vape, but it also a very steep learning curve with regards to setting them up when compared to the protanks etc. This was especially the case with fixed airflow.

Double navy nest was by far the best setup I tried when I had the Lites and so is a very good place to start but do not force the wick into place.. it needs to be teased into place to work properly..take the time to wrap a nice coil, make sure the channels aren't blocked, and you can't go far wrong..

I use the Kayfun in the office and a Protank at home and when out and about.

Same resistance - same liquid.

The difference is that the Protank gives a good harsh raspy hit and the Kayfun gives a good smooth refined hit.

They both do their jobs and get you from A to B, but it's sort of like comparing a good reliable van to a Range Rover in comparison.
