Edit: Just heard back from Ash at MyEpack and he says the Protank 3 heads will not fit any other Protank or Evod.

The Kanger Protank 3 offers the same great features and much better performance as the Kanger Clearomizers but with the introduction of a glass tank! The Protank 3 is also 510 threaded and will work on a 510 threaded MOD without the need for an adapter.

Tips:

The metal tube in the center of this Clearomizer leads from the mouthpiece to the battery end. Avoid getting liquid in this tube when filling the Clearomizer.
When unfastening the base (atomizer head) to refill the Clearomizer, the seals are temporarily broken and liquid will leak from the mouthpiece or escape into the center tube. Always wrap a cloth or piece of tissue around the mouthpiece when unfastening the base of the Clearomizer.
Gurgling noise or leaks: This is a sign that liquid has found its way into the metal tube in the center of the Clearomizer (and usually occurs after a refill). Ridding the center tube of liquid will resolve the issue. To do so without emptying the tank, remove the Clearomizer from the battery, wrap a cloth or tissue around the battery end of the Clearomizer and blow through the mouthpiece.
The atomizer head of the Protank can unfasten when unscrewing the tube or base. Always secure the atomizer head before reinstalling the base of the Protank.
It is normal to find a small amount of liquid in the battery contact area when removing the Clearomizer or any atomizer. We recommend cleaning the battery before charging it.


When possible, keep the tank full and never below 1/3 full of eLiquid ("topped off"). This helps maintain the "vacuum" in the tank and prevent leaks.
Atomizer heads have an average lifespan between 10 to 20 days. When the atomizer head wears down, it may begin to leak. Replace the atomizer head with a new one if available.

They are not getting the best reviews from the prototypes that have been sent out so far.

Will look a tad top heavy too if its not on a mod.

The Aspire duel coils look to be a better bet so far (that said I'm a sucker for Kanger's stuff so I'll be trying one when they arrive lol)

These yes the protank 2 is a great vape. The above one is not out as yet but one thing to consider is that you cant re coil a dual coil yourself so you will need to keep buying the heads. Not a bad thing as dual coil heads last so much longer than normal ones.

Tempted to try one myself but as I've got 3 protank 2s still in the box I need to shift them first lol.

I just edited my post to point out the contradiction  .. so who knows which of the two statements is right?  ... All the same it is pretty negligent of Kanger who obviously have not taken care with their announcement of a new product.

True .. but I would be surprised if Kanger had changed their interchangeable heads policy now, after all the protank 1 and 2 and evod heads are all interchangable and I can't see anything other than the fact that they are dual coil that is different from the previous heads .. however I am not a Kanger devotee as you know ... perhaps someone who has experience of Kanger heads can tell if they look different regarding size and shape etc.

well those 3 heads do look totally different to the 2 heads, so I'd go with not intechangeable, but till someone actually buys one and tries we're not gonna know for sure.

At least they aren't fully enclosed like the iclear 30S and Aspire heads so you should be able dry burn them and possibly even recoil them if you are ambitious enough.
