Tanks and/or carts - should I start using them?

Had a bad day vaping yesterday couldn't get the taste right, my current fave (666) didn't taste great, put new atomisers on my Riva but still not brilliant, faffed with cart filler and not good, used new carts and better but my 2nd fave juice still didn't taste great and kept running out really quick etc.

A revelation came today when I substituded a tank cart and atomiser I happened to have and hey presto a vape as good if not slightly better than before and no messing with polyester filler (or blue foam) in the carts. I know the tanks eat juice faster than carts but at least I can keep an easier tag on how much I'm using.

Anyway my question for the day is should I switch to tanks or should I do what a number of people have been recommending form the start and got for cartomisers and what are the advantages/disadvantages of each?

Anyway, no links from me, but a definate vote for cartomisers.

Tanks are ok and they serve a purpose, but personally I find that you seem to lose a lot of the flavour.

The other downside is the cost of the Tank Atomisers versus the lifespan.

But, pro's and con's to everything.

Also I'm guessing, from comments elsewhere, Boge are seen as the best?

I do the 510-T as well as the standard ego-t tanks Roger.

They take different cartridges though.

Yes, I would say that Boge are by far the best with regard to cartomisers and the difference between standard and LR is noticeable on the Riva (More throat hit with the LR - slightly less flavour).

No worries, I have some TW Tornado tank carts at the moment - is the Tornado-T atomiser compatible with either? Doesn't really matter though if the Tornado atomiser packs in I can buy whichever from you ... now my naieve buy anything that looks good (or has cool packaging lol) stage is passing I'm noticing TW are slightly overpriced and there are better prices to be got elsewhere!

I think with regards the Boges I'm probably best trying both to see what suits me best ...

I can feel a Pick 'n' Mix coming on too apart from Whiskey Cream are there any other flavours I just have to try (I like the sound of Perpetu Leche)?

The Tornado cone shaped atty's are the same as the ego-t ones and take the same tank cartridges. The 510-T has it's own tank cartridge.

Perpetu Leche is a nice one for the coffee lovers in my opinion Roger.

Cocomel, Coconut Mint Choc Chip, Golden Burginia are the other best sellers (excluding 666) and the Choc Orange has had some good reviews.

When you but your cartomisers, don't buy both types. Just buy 1 type and I will send you a sample carto of the other type - that way you can try it first.

They will certainly go out 1st Class Monday Roger. After that we are in Royal Mails hands.

You could opt for Special Delivery if you want to be certain, but it's a bit pricey for lower value orders.

Okay order sent now, 1st class should be fine I guess based on the quick delivery of the other orders

BTW, I went for a pack of the LR Boge cartomisers.

I've been thinkign it might be time for me to try a few different accessories. I was looking at the cartomisers, someone very kindly sent me one to try and I like it. I see that jason recomends the boge cartomisers, do you only sell those in black jason? Might look a little odd with my white Riva lol

Hi Jemima, yes I only sell black carto's I'm afraid.

Once you fit your Riva cone, it leaves around 10mm of the carto visible.

There just isn't much demand for white, sorry.

White Riva should look ok with a little black sticking out of the top with a black delrin drip tip on it.
