Yes you can, that is in fact what I prefer to use in a kayfun

Got the navy nest setup, I think I prefer this to the microcoil. It's wicking perfectly, vaping on some homemade Caramel Custard.... and all is good in the world again.

Just a quick one mentioned over on ECR, make sure you're not winding the coil around the wick too tightly and strangling the wick.

How long would a navy nest last for on average, that's the beauty of a microcoil just change the cotton and away you go again.

Thats not a drama with a micro coil as you make the coil first then thread the cotton.

That depends on what liquid you're vaping, what wattage you vape at, and your personal vaping habit I change wick and coil weekly as a rule and never dry burn to clean, yuck !!

Well done iLardyboy, +1 for Navy nest, use it in my KF conversion kit, not strictly a KF but near as damn it, not tried the KFL+ yet.

I only re-wick every cpl of weeks but i don't use it exclusively, in fact i don't use it a great deal at all.

Met up with a UKV member on Saturday who uses microcoils & cotton wool in his KFs & swears by them, should have asked him to set me one up to see what all the fuss is about.
