I'm a Snake Oil Addict!!!

Last week I fired off an email to Simon over at TMax requesting a 5ml sample of Snake Oil.  He asked for my postal details and nic preference and said it'd go out with the next lot of orders.  (For those of you who don't know, he happily does this free of charge for potential new customers.)

It landed this morning and I really wasn't sure what to expect.  Snake Oil seems to be one of those things people either love or hate.  I was hopeful, but there were no worries either way because it cost nothing to try.  Into the new mini protank it went and off we go...

For today anyway, I am officially addicted!  

Does it still taste good after using it constant for a few days or do any of you who like it get sick of it sometimes?  Trying to decide how much to order and afraid to go on initial impressions because I'd be ordering a boat load.

Tried snake oil as a sample and for me it is two flavors:

Capella: Harvest Berry
And maybe: Flavor West Extreme Ice or something along them lines

Did not taste anything along the lines of aniseed though.

iLardyboy i ain't well atm so i maybe wrong but all i tasted was Harvest berry (this was for sure for me at the time as that stuff sticks out a mile for me) and just something that cools your lips.

Again i ain't well atm.

I really like Snake Oil . . . although I did find it made me feel a bit queasy.


But that was probably because I went through 5ml in a morning.

I love it but can only cope with it in small doses - definitely not an all day vape for me, more an every day vape.

  I've not used anything else all day and only went through half the 5ml. Such a light weight.  Didn't even know it was possible to get through that much in a day, nvm a morning!  You're proper hard core

I was surprised how quickly it went must be honest Dawn, I blamed it on the new coil in my Protank.

I got a sample the other week and have to say I got no harvest berry at all.

Tastes to me a lot like haribo sour mix with some cooling on the exhale - not menthol but definitely the impression of a chill.  Tastes a lot like the jelly snake Si pops in with the bottle in fact.

What did surprise me is given people have said its an aniseed based juice I got no aniseed at all - I only get a hint in Red Astaire (to me its more blackcurrent, other berries and menthol with a subtle note of aniseed) but in this - no sign at all.

I kind of liked it but it gets a bit much for me quite quickly - certainly not an ADV - its quite a heavy flavour and got a tad sickly for me after a short period - nice for a quick toot though.

Why did you have to say sour haribos? I love those things! Now I've got to try it..! I get the same as you from Red Astaire so hoping I get the same from this. Do they do a concentrate or am I going to have another expensive favourite flavour?

I also had a sample last week and i definitely got aniseed.
To me it tasted like BlackJack sweets with a hint of citrus and with a hint of Menthol on the exhale

Hi john, I got my Snake Oil over a week ago, and my first impression WAS of Aniseed, but I was expecting this as I contacted Si who makes it and thats what he told me it would be like at FIRST. I have tried it again over a week later and now the aniseed flav has mellowed and become a harmonious part of the whole flav. Haribo and Sour Snakes? Maybe, but I would suggest a much more complex and far less jarring flavour, I am still being left with the cooling effect on exhale, but again after another weeks steeping it has become a cool,fresh pillow upon which I can rest my head and reflect on the developing flavour. An All Day Vape, for me not, I would find it too much. As a treat, definitely a regular one. I would hate to Vape it so much that I go off it, I positively look forward to finding how much another day, or two, has changed its quite subtle undertones.


Yep, it's nice. Try a sample,Vape a little, leave it a week (it's worth the wait) and then see what you think then
