Bastos wick and Mesh company

Been in contact with them and hopefully they might stock Bastos wick hopefully at a cheaper price for what is out there atm.

Being a bit slow but what advantages does bastos wick have over silica wick? I have to say mesh company as being really good listening to their customers requests.

I was told a guy on another forum did a step by step on bastos wick and silica and there is no difference after I had bought some don't no as I no nothing about wick just read bastos was good and ordered some

I just tend to find it holds juice better than other wicks, good for certain atties.

I've seen this and indeed if you look at it very close up it does look like other silica wicks. Nevertheless I do like it in some things and my speculation is that the reason it wicks well is that it is slightly fatter than other 3mm wick - I find I consistently get a slightly higher resistance for the same number of turns. The other thing I find is that after a few dry burns there is very little residual funky silica taste left compared to others. I will definitely be getting some more - even better if they do it cheaper than Shmovapes
