Don't worry Lisa, I think the forum software has now successfully updated - just need to get your old post score back now

Lol Jerry, you are off the hook with that video as it can't be viewed by folks in the UK Oh good, I'm relieved, now. Actually, it's the "Flying Purple People Eater" song, that was popular here in the early 60s. T he Pink Ladies are now lavender.
I'm off, still have more things to do, before the hurricane hits us on Sunday. Lilac actually Really hope the hurricane bypasses you Jerry

Thanks, Chrissie. There's very little chance of it bypassing us, I have seen worse ones. I will just batten down the hatches and hope for the best.

Bel, I will keep in touch if I can but if we lose our electric power, I won't be able to get on the internet. According to the latest reports, we should be getting 40 - 60 mph winds and 3 - 5 inches of rain. It's going to be stormy, but not devastating. In fact, that's just barely tropical storm winds. I think that we are going to get lucky with this one.

Typical yanks, they have to have a better hurricane than everyone else lol, one good thing though- at least the wind can't blow out an e-cig Hope you ride it out unscathed jerry.

Blakey, I have seen every kind of nasty weather that New England can throw at us and I have handled it all.
Only two words frighten me, hurricane and blizzard, in that order.
It's true that a hurricane can't blow out an e-cig, but only a fool would be outside in a hurricane. lol

A hurricane may not blow out an e-cig but could blow out being able to recharge the batteries if the power goes off

I have that covered, Chrissie. It's hitting Virginia now and Tiburon is reporting that her lights are blinking. It should be less intense tomorrow morning, when we get the full force of it...hopefully.
