Impossible to police, and the EU will lose out massively to the far east, and with loopholes, DIYers will find a way. They will have to stop the sale of wick, wire, batteries etc. Everything barring nic base is multi purpose. That said where's the cheapest place for nic base?!

After the initial panic? I would refer to AAEC because someone would know what to do. I'm usually pretty self sufficient but this is all still very new and I just don't have the knowledge or experience to deal with a crisis by myself. Except again as hard to police, this forum, vttv etc will all fall under the ban I believe

loobiebloo sorry to inform you, but if ban goes through, there will be no forums see my post ref AAEC closed in 2016. No internet sales no shops to buy mods, atty`s, juice. Just weak carto`s with very limited flavours, strength no greater than 20mg/lt.

Would vaping of 0mg nicotine be allowed? guessing no as once you've got the kit and liquid then you only need the nicotine?

There'll be forums for loobiebloo to look at jeffc, they just won't be uk-based. Maybe. They have a forum in New Zealand, where you can't sell nicotine, though you can import it for personal use. I'll be OK. I have almost 2 litres of nic in the freezer now, and the money to go to the U.S. (or wherever) occasionally so that I can smuggle in some more. And I could make my own mods if I had to. What p*sses me off is that people are going to die because of these stupid and/or bent civil servants and politicians.

Between now and 2016 I will be/have been stocking up on 72 mg Nic base, mechanical mods, RBAs, wire and wick, and tobacco concentrate. All other vaping requirements will always be readily available as they have other legal uses eg: other flavour concentrates will be available as cake flavourings and PG and VG are readily available for other uses and a battery is a battery. ETA: I may also learn Mandarin and, if my supplies run out, move to China ..... isn't it ironic that a communist country now has the second largest economy in the world and it's citizens have more personal freedom than in most western democracies?

I'd be ok, mainly because I've spent the last couple of years stockpiling Nic Base in mine and my friends freezer and whilst my re-coiling skills aren't brilliant I could manage. That said, I don't have an ' I'm alright Jack ' attitude, I'd be willing to help anyone out if I possibly could . . . I'm sure the other shopaholics on the forum who've bought more than they can reasonably use, are of a like mind. Where there's a will, there's a way in all things. What really saddens and enrages me because of petty tinpot bureaucrats, is that for many current smokers if legislation goes through, they are being denied the chance of trying an easy available, healthier and very credible alternative to smoking tobacco. That in my mind is a crime.

what beggars belief is they are so quick to want to ban ecigs and accessories but alcohol is ok. why is this? people die from alcohol (i have no facts, just personal experience). its a home wrecker and a very real danger. something comes out which has no proven dangers if used sensibly AND saves lives and they want to ban it...

Unfortunately the plans include banning forums about E-cigs as well as the e-cigs and liquids themselves.

The world has gone quite bonkers if we end up with a situation where it's conceivably easier to buy hard drugs, than a liquid containing nicotine. I don't understand.

It's all down to money Spikey ... this bunch of hypocritical barstewards that govern nanny us pretend that they give a shit about public health and rant on about the amount of money that tobacco use and alchohol abuse costs the NHS yet the only thing they do to reduce the NHS cost is raise the price to get more tax. Bear in mind that the revenue from tobacco and alcohol tax is many, many times greater than the cost to the NHS. Tobacco and Pharma have a huge influence on Government policy and it is in their interest to get control of the ecig market and then control the price and availability. The proposals being put forward will play straight into Tobacco and Pharma's hands as they are the only entities with the wherewithal to conform and still make a huge profit. If the Government really cared about it's citizens, it would embrace Vaping as the godsend that it is to the health of current smokers and future generations.
