OK, we've been "kicked in the nuts" in article 18 of the TPD, they've (Euro MP's) still managed to get Medicinalisation option in the TPD by the back door, they still have snuck in options to BAN ANY PROMOTION OF E-Cigs - that even stretches to THIS FORUM and the PRESS do you want that to happen?

So on VTTV it has been proposed that Vapers throughout Europe need to raise the awareness of the Public of the IDIOCRACY OF THE PROPOSED TPD by peaceful protest/demonstration to do this it has been suggested we gather outside our local TV or Radio Station at 11am on Saturday 11th January.

Wearing black and with your favourite e-cig in hand, no chanting or banner waving required, this should/can be a quiet protest/promotion of Ecigs.

Simply; if enough people do this all over the UK and Europe the TV or Radio station may come out to find out what we're doing and we might even get a slot in the news.
It's not just happening all over the UK but all over EUROPE as well!

HOPEFULLY we'll get the chance to tell the Reporters that even THEY will not be able to talk about e-cigs.

WE NEED TO GET THIS ORGANISED SO THAT WE CAN PUT OUR SIDE TO THE TPD
PROPOSALS!

Lets pool our resources with UKV. The bigger the turnout the more chance to overturn this evil.

now that I've quaffed a chunk of my xmas alcohol, I find myself replying.....
I keep peeking, and added thread to my bookmarks - I'm from the Wirral; I feel quite strongly about EU laws affecting my new-found vaping freedom...issue is, I don't quite understand some of it...I'd love to support, I've google earthed carefully (and methodically - I get easily lost!) from local train station to Radio Merseyside and would love to be counted...

I even perked up at mutual breakfast plans ( I do like my food ) but what if they shove a microphone near me?!?! I'd be clueless... would you rescue me! I'm a danger to myself broken biscuits at that time of day

GunJack Just had a look to see what was happening in Wrexham and drew more or less a blank, hope your not alone tomorrow but if you are and you fancy singing or playing the guitar then take a cap or a empty tub so passers by can chuck money in for future vaping supplies and if you can't do both, have a go at tap dancing and have a good vape.

I will be glued to you tube next week

It was nice meeting other vapers and all fighting the ridiculous proposal from the EU. Although the weather was cold and damp the spirits were high. Most of the vapers belong to our allies in UkV and as we all stood together united all I could think of was a penguins huddle, I was sniffling and shivering with the cold. I didn't speak to all of them but those that chatted to me were great. I had a great conversation with Ad328, Cheers for that Bud.
I am sorry I didn't have a proper chat with Munkymunky as I only found out who she was at the last minute but it was nice to say hi and bye in one sentence lol. Hopefully meet up with more vapers at the next protest. Next up chaining myself to a tree. These protests are great.

No BBC no journalist No politicians. Hopefully next time.

No speedo for me not with my milk bottle legs, maybe a duffle coat wellies and a snorkel and thats the summer lol.
