No problem Ali But, I'm going to throw another spanner in the works here, if it's the screwdriver you are intending to use with Echomisers. I'm not sure that a 901-510 would get you up high enough for the Echomiser. I think you would need a 510-Ego on top of that. Alternatively, I think they do a tank conversion kit which does away with the adapters, but is pricey from what I've read. Like I say, I don't have a screwdriver to be certain of what I'm saying, so best to check first.

Ali, the adapters are only small so won't add much length to your SD. If you are going to order a 901-510 adapter, I'd suggest ordering some steel dual coil or some Boge LR cartomisers at the same time Lol, we're like Laurel and Hardy today

Lol I've just had a look at the conversion kit on TW and it's £12.99. So obvioulsy 2 x adapters @ £2.95 each are cheaper, but I think if I was going to be using Echomisers all the time I would go for the conversion kit to be honest. By the way, I really rate the Echomisers and don't think you'll go far wrong with them.

Four weeks and five days. Everything has been going well till today. sd 11 first draw fine then less and less vapour each draw Leave it five minutes and same again first draw fine. Have changed atty and cartridge and tried cartridge on 510 and it is ok ? any suggestions. btw I have gone off the idea of echomisers because I was so pleased with the cartomisers I have got so I was going to carry on with them. Also Jason I have totally ignored your advice regards adapters and ordered from your site, Whats up with you, directing people to other sites!!?? lol

I've had some SD batteries (but mine are Spiderfires for the MkI) that have started to drop off rather quickly. I'd suggest a freshly charged one before you despair, Ali PMSL @ Chrissie and Jason scylla

For the time being I would drip 2 drops straight down the atty onto the wire-wool "coil" thing and attach an empty cartridge or drip-tip. If the vape is OK it will give you and us breathing space scylla

Ali, I'm guessing you mean the attie glows red on another device, but not on the SD MK11? Try cleaning the SD thoroughly - especially the threads where the attie screws in. I've heard that the silicone grommet can get compressed on the MK11's & that can cause the issues you mention. Hoping someone who has a MK11 will be along soon to help more If not, feel free to start a new thread asking fo help in the general vaping section.

Thanks people, got sorted received my adapter from Jason, screwed it on mk11 used one of my carts vapeing as normal. Dont know what what was wrong befofore suspect it was atties even though tested on mk11 and glowing red. Btw Jason adapter stands 1/4 of an inch (in old money) above the shoulder of mk11 maybe enough for echomiser? although I am happy with the carts for now. thanks for the tip, next step dripping. alipali
