Vapescape sell 18650 AW IMR's for £11.99 (less any discount), Cloud 9 sell them for £11.75 and Bargainvapor sell them for 12.79€ These are all authorised AW re-sellers. Personally I would be very suspicious of any selling for much less than that. Even if you buy them directly from the man himself they cost $10.50 (plus shipping and insurance and of course potentially import VAT) and currently you will have a long wait as they have to come via surface mail. The genuine ones have had a number of subtle changes in the labelling over the years to combat frauds and from last December they have started putting hologram stickers on them, so when those eventually start to filter through it will be harder to produce fakes. AW is essentially a quality control operation that buys and tests top quality (mainly) Panasonic cells and puts their label on them. Lots of other battery brands (e.g. Efest) are also essentially labelling operations. You can get decent batteries with all sorts of labels on them (including fake AW labels), so it just comes down to what you want to put your trust in

Some sound advice Dave. Thanks. I had read about Mr Andrew Wan quality testing and selling mainly Panasonic batteries but wasn't aware only approved dealers could sell them.
from last December they have started putting hologram stickers on them, so when those eventually start to filter through it will be harder to produce fakes.
The sooner the better.
Where can I find a list of approved / Authorised resellers for AW Batts in the UK? Does that mean non approved shouldn't be selling them then? I actually wanted to buy many more but the price made me cautious. I also realise the importance as there is a safety element involved unlike so many other copies of vaping goods. If they are fakes that I have, they'll be the first fakes amongst any of my vaping gear.
What's the expression? If it looks too good to be true.... Cheers

We originally got them from The Vaping Room London, who only do high end and Genuine Gear, we took it off there hands at a very cheap price because they were shutting down and clearing up for good. hence why we can offer it soo low, but this was the only batch we had got from them which was around 50 of each of 18350 and 18650. And will not be getting them again So they are genuine its just they approached us because they are local, and offered thier stock to us at a discount rate Hence why we can provide it so cheap, P.S Only 5 6 odd left Cheers Amir For P-Vaper
