made menthol from crystals oops

got 5 g pack of menthol crystals

only had 30ml bottle as had used all my others up.

so tried to make 10ml of concentrate in in.

took crystals out place on small peice of paper folded in half.

held up to bottle and poured in or should i say didnt.

managed to recover them mainly but worktop was wet so got a huge blast of menthol.  ops

Also then realised that i had used the whole packet of crystals even though it didnt come more than 10-20 up the 30ml bottle.

put 10ml of PG in with crystals and shook and shook.

so what level of strenth have I and what should i use as a percentage when i make some juice.

its a learning process  lol

LOL Ooooops indeed, but just vape in the kitchen, as that will add the menthol hit you need!

You've made a concentrate & you don't really need to figure in the drop or two that you'll add into the percentages, just go by your preferred taste.

Read somewhere that menthol crystals don't affect nic strength ? Not sure if I correct if it is just add sparingly till it's ok for you !

I'd start with 2% initially and go from there... I diluted a tub of crystals in 15ml and use it at 4 or 5% max

think I used half of the 5ml menthol and diluted with pg into a 20ml bottle. crystals filed to just over a third.

you and me seem to be on the same learning curve, I did similar a couple of nights ago, filled a 10ml bottle half way with menthol crystals, topped up with pg and used at 10% in a mix, well it certainly cleared my head but couldn't vape a full tank, but the upside was I haven't got a cold now - coincidence maybe.

I would go easy maybe 2-3% and see how that is cos it's gonna be strong.

I used about a third of a tub of menthol crystals from Superdrug in 10ml of PG, and it's well strong - luverly!! Certainly don't need more that 1-2% to make a real difference to a mix.
I wacked together a Caramel, Lemon and Menthol mix the other day and used 4 drops of Menthol, it's very noticeable, let just leave it at that!

Put 5 drops of the concentrate in a dripper and vape...

If you cant see for 5 mins use at 20%

If you cant see for 10 mins use at 15%

If you cant see for 30 mins use at 5%

If you cant see for 1 hr, what the hell are you doing vaping menthol concentrate for ... Don't listen to everything your told !
