Just checked and there is a paint shop called Brewers who sell all kinds of paints/sprays.............liking the idea of blue/black rubber coating spray They are about a 10min walk from me

Instead of painting could you wrap it? So far i am thinking of rubber coating spray in dark blue or black, wrapping it would have to be custom and that would cost ££ or £££

Creating design for a wrap could open up a whole other project thread lol

Went for a dark kinda metallic blue in the end, i have sanded and primed it and sanded again, also done two coats of the spray and am gonna do another three. I know they recommend it for cars due to outside weather, just not sure i need it for this, gotta say it's a lovely metallic color now, 7 coats of it 7 coats ? lol I vaguely remember my mate used to lacquer his motorcycle helmets after painting various designs on them to protect them from knocks, but was told that piece of information a good 15 year ago so could be wrong. Could just suck it and see anyhow I suppose, can always sand n repaint a year from now if it needs it.

boyofford think i will leave it as it is right now, patience got the better of me and had to have a feel of it...BIG mistake, it was still slightly wet so a small finger print got on it just gave it another coat and all is good again Enough spraying for one day, been high as a kit for 5 hours now
