I'm having exactly the same problem as Jerry..At least 1" of white space on left of message boxes and have to scroll to the right of the text to read it all. Using Firefox. I don't like it!!! MM !!

It's centered now, Chrissie. There's about 1 1/2" on each side, that's blank, if you want to stretch it out a bit.

Oooops! It's changed since posting that ^^^^^ there !!! Now have a blue boarder around the text boxes and an inch of white (useless) space around the whole thing!!! Personally don't like it but guess, like everything else, I'll have to get used to it.

It's better than having to scroll, MM. Now, if we could only get Chrissie to stop playing around with the forum settings.

Just in the spirit of more info, Chrissie: I use the AOL browser (some variant version of IE, I believe) and have had no blue edges visible at all at any point this afternoon, but neither have I needed to scroll across to view any posts, either. I also now have quite a wide gap to either side of the messages, but everything is perfectly legible. Screen res is 1280 x 1024.
(Don't know how to do the screenshot thing I'm afraid)

Tetsab, just hit the "PrntScr" button on your computer and it will put the screen image on your clipboard.

Sorry folks, I'm getting too tired so going to have to leave it for tonight I've changed my res to the same as Jerry's & got to admit it looks blooming awful For starters the banner is so wide & I can't get it to reduce, no matter how many changes I make to the code width variation.

OK Guys n Gals, try this.... If you have a scroll wheel mouse press and hold the left control key down and the left Alt key down now move the mouse wheel and it'll change the size of your text, this will also make the banner smaller or larger dependant on which way you go. For those without a scroll wheel mouse.... I don't know!

Thanks for the advice, Jerry - sadly it doesn't seem to work, as in I can't seem to "paste" anything; I'm assuming that is how it should work? May be 'cos I'm using AOL. Tried the "PrtScrn" button with Ctrl, Alt & Shift as well but still no dice.
I think everything widened briefly a while ago then went back to quite large 'margins' either side as far as I'm concerned but as Chrissie has decided to leave it for today probably doesn't matter anyway. Thanks for your efforts anyway, Chrissie - probably best to try again another time if you're getting to the banging-head-against-wall stage now! Go get yourself a glass of wine, girl.
Forgot to mention last time, my screen is one of the 'old-fashioned' types, not a widescreen one. Don't know if this would make any difference?

Screen type shouldn't make a difference to how it works. Try this ....
press the print screen button open a programme called paint (if your using windows) push and hold CTRL and then press V
the screen image should appear then
then u can save that to yoru desktop (or where ever u want) and then upload to the forum.
