Looks nice Chrissie, if you ask me % is def the way to go with positions. I still get teh occasional page size flicker, mostly on this page, so you might wanna double check you havent got a conflict going on somewhere.

That was the problem, Jemima, the pic was too big. When Chrissie shrank the pic, the page became "normal".

Page 3 for me has no blue border!! Don't matter though. This page is okay. If you've got nothing to do Chrissie - come over here and help me 'chuck out' and also work out my new Epson thingie. I haven't even got it out of its box yet!!!!! MM

It was the oversized pic that caused the flicker.I added a code a while back that auto adjusts any pic posted to no more than 800px wide. I've now reduced the pic (in PB) that I posted, so if you go back to page 3 again, there should no longer be a flicker. However, if you go on the pet photo album thread for instance, you will get a fair bit of flicker as some folks have posted massive pics & your browser will read the full size pic for a second before the auto resize kicks in. I've taken note of folks not liking the space either side of the board so resized the forum width. I've also reduced the banner size & checked it all out with lower resolution screen setting & it looks OK to me. Lol MM, if I lived nearer, I'd be straight over to give you a hand

Glad it's all looking OK for you now MM Lol, I wish my house could be cat hair free at the click of a button - well apart from the hairs attached to the cats of course I seem to spend so much time hoovering.

It's a small price to pay, Chrissie, which you'd be the first to say My pic is looking good, but the frame looks more grey than blue - I think it's to do with my wishy-washy display, it was mentioned as a weak point of this notebook but I didn't take heed. scylla
