Why do I still feel awkward vaping Sometimes

If you are aloud to vape inside work id make the most of it while it lasts, airbus stopped it afew months back

How true is that Freefrom . . . when I say to folks I've not smoked a ciggy in almost 4 years - they look at me and say, but you're still using that thing.

Me too . . . I don't think he realizes quite how massive and heavy this thing already is.

I dont vape inside public places either, It's just that I dont want some heavy handed barman or someone coming over and telling me smoking is illegal etc...and then I have to explain im vaping not smoking and the difference , whilst everyone next to you is gawping at you...
so just join the condemned outside seems easier

Yep, I can relate to that. I had someone say to me the other day, after I said I hadn't smoked for over 8 months, "yeah but you haven't really given up because you're still smoking that"

And that was from someone who is a smoker, wanting to give up

Whilst I don't vape indoors ( apart from house) I feel no awkwardess at all if I'm in a social situation ie beer garden, smoke shelter etc.

Why? Because I am no longer willingly killing myself with ciggies , no longer blowing toxic cigarette clouds in anyone's personal space.

So feel comfortable.

I was in a pub which openly allows vaping before Christmas, and despite the green 'vaping allowed' signs on the door, as I was the only vaper, I resisted and popped outside for a quick puff or two.
I chuckled to myself as I staggered back up the hill - what if everyone in the bar was a closet vaper, all resisting the temptation to pop out their Vamos and mech mods because no-one else was vaping, and they didn't want to be the only one! Well, it certainly seemed funny at the time, perhaps it was the Betty Stogs doing the talking!
