I don't quit understand how a Naked Flame, lighting a Cigarette, can be LESS dangerous than a Battery operated device! I know rules are strict Offshore (rightly so) I just don't get the banning of e-cigs

Nah. Nrt doesn't cut it. I get light headed with patches and don't need that out there. Plus the last time I used a patch it lasted 30 mins. Also I'm a hairy beast with nowhere to stick them really.

I'm not sure it's the battery thats banned. More the poisonous eliquid.

As for cigarettes, the thought of inhaling one of those make me shudder nowadays.

If your thinking what I'm thinking, then it aint big enough.  Well, not here in Norway where it's freezing 
As for the cigs, I had already settled it with myself that I can cope with it until the powers that be wise up.  In the meantime, I'll smoke when I'm offshore, otherwise, ecigs only.  

It actually works okay, because whenever I think "I could go a fag", which very rarely happens, I can say to myself, wait until you go to work, and chimney it up...

It works, lol.  As disappointed as I am currently.
