I've voted Chrome but sometimes use FF6 and occasionally Opera. IIRC the smileys wouldn't display in Opera ??? I used to get a lot of crashes in Chrome, still get some but not as many for the last month or three. I use separate browsers to save having too many tabs open in FF. Not that you asked scylla

Changed browser today back to IE for a short time. Can hardly believe how different things look & how slow it loads compared to FF Just want to add that if anyone reading this thread needs any help changing their browser, just shout

Mostly FF here but I have em all loaded and alternate now and again depending on what I am doing, some do certain things better than others, and android dolphin on the phone, or safari on the i-pod- all bases covered

Voted FF (can't remember whether it's 6 or 7) and Mobile (BB). I have IE8 but would rather stick pins in me eyes than use it. FF is auto updated but I find it freezes/hangs/crashes between 3 & 6 times a day > 'Plug-in container failed' is the usual message. Have been closing and restarting FF as required but I'm getting dangerously close to punching the lappy LCD in face VERY hard I haven't done the obvious thing of uninstalling and re-installing FF cos I don't want to lose my bookmarks. Advice grateully received

I updated FF not so long ago Clutty, think I was on version 3 as opposed to the current 10 trillion version . . . wish I hadn't as I don't like the new home page layout and lost all my bookmarks.
Although the forum looks so much nicer on it, than IE.

I always bypass home pages. I have a radio schedule as my homepage. I do like that you can drag and drop fave sites onto a tool bar for quickness (and kill 'em when they cease to be faves). I know you're supposed to back up bookmarks and fings but that's getting perilously close to doing housework IMO

One more I've been using/testing a bit. SRware iron, basically a Google clone w/o the Google c**p running in the background, it also got an add block (add on).
