Seen as you ask he was of little help. He told me if I sent him some pics of channels he would pass the information on to the manufacturer along with a copy of this thread.
He offered to look at my build but I advised there were no issues with it and it's the same as the build in my hightec model which is fine. He suggested several things like checking all orings are in place which I'd already done.

 I asked if there was anything else he could do in terms of recompense etc or could he give me a call to discuss and he replied - I'm really sorry but there's nothing I can do. I'll let you draw your own conclusions.

I had another two delivered today fron Steve at high tech trading, set up and vaping like trains.

I communicated my problems to Steve without advising the vendor concerned, he understood my reservations given my experience as I was considering the clear tank version from him. He offered to send me one free of charge to set up and use if if I was happy send payment, if not just return it    I didnt take up this offer as he advised the clear tank unit although the same manufacturer had a slightly longer overhaul length and chimney. As I have lots of spare parts I stuck with the standard sized ss tanks * 2.

You may recall Irfan sends pics of the units stripped down before posting, there are some pics in this thread. In hindsight I've recognised that all of pics I have seen have the chimney in place on the base such that you can't see the juice channels !

So in terms of quick delivery times Irfan is spot on, in terms of product quality and after sales customer service then it's a big fat zero from me, I wouldn't contemplate using again. If you want a KFL clone with great service then I would recommend hightec trading.

Just trying a 3mm (been using 2mm upto now) microcoil with cotton @ 1.7 Ohms on a Nemesis. Head buzzing with nicotine

It's a close fit between the cap head screws but wicking well, not that I had any problem with wicking @ 2mm.

Just been vaping chefs vapour spotted Dick and custard. Yum. Gave all the airholes a serious serious clean , made all difference.

What sort of difference? Snice the initial ultrasonic clean and checking the airholes for swarf when I got it I haven't cleaned at all, just a wipe down with a paper towel when I change the wick or coil. Same flavour in it all the time.

My first clean was just a quick rinse under hot water with a bit of detergent.

On Saturday, I put it in a sealed Tupperware tub, boiling hot water, fairy liquid and shook the daylights out of it. I then blew through all the airholes, used a toothpick and really gave all the little holes a good ' toothpickng'. The draw felt far too tight previously ( even with the airhole screw fully removed) now it draws as I wanted it to, very similar to the real Russian 91 I own.

Got mine from hightec trading, not getting much in the way of vapour with 30/70 juice, micro coil at 1.2ohms and cotton wick, loads of flavour but a distinct lack of vapour for some reason.

Got one of the ones Greg was talking about from HighTec. Juice channels are huge in comparison to this one. Did a build similar to my normal ones, 1.3 Ohm micro wrapped on an M3 screw with .32 kanthal and a little bit of CW. No vapour lots of gurgling and then leaks all over the place.. After a bit of faffing about I got a good vape but this version needs a lot more wick than the juicemeup version.

With the juicemeup version very little wick is needed. The hightec one relies on the wick partially blocking the channels to stop flooding.

Still happy with both of mine ( and my others and now about to play with a genuine KFL+ I bought at Cloud9 yesterday Tease-smiley

It's amazing isn't it they just seem to breed,new ones appear all the time. I also want to complain that someone seems to be using my paypal account, every time a new one appears another transaction happens, it certainly wasn't me I have no memory of spending more money

I bought another one from irfan ( brushed steel, air hole at bottom) performing on par with my Russian .
