would you recommend? I'm planning to do a concentrates order at Chefs Vapour and would like to add each of those flavours to the order, but no idea which ones are best.
Lemon - FA Lemon Sicily or Cap Juicy Lemon?
Pear - Cap or PA?
Peppermint - Cap ok?
If there's a better option out there from another supplier, give a shout and I'll go hunting. Cheers.

I have heard great things about the lemon sicily but have not tried it. I am using inawera lemon, I have not tried it alone yet, but I tasted it from the bottle and it is spot on. I have added it to pudding types I wasn't happy with and it is fab, a real tangy lemon rather than a sweety lemon. edited to say - I got mine from LT, not sure if it is listed as inawera, I was looking at all makes, but the bottle is the proper inawera label. www.ltecigs.larsentilbrook.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&filter_name=lemon&product_id=191- this one, it is listed as inawera lol.

Can't help much newdawn, but I have the Lemon Sicily, not used it as a standalone, but has given the right lemonyness in the mixes I have used it so far. Am currently mixing 20 concentrates per week as standalone testers and am planning to do all my remaining fruit flavours this weekend, so give me a couple of weeks and I will be able to give you a far more educated opinion. I have a pear concentrate in my arsenal, but cant tell you the brand right now and have only used it in a pear drops mix which has lots of banana in it, so probably not the best to judge it from.

Great minds think alike I am going to mix up some lemon on its own tonight, or maybe tomo if I get carried away with the shopping pages tonight lol.

Phew. Thanks for the replies! Was getting worried I'd have to wing it. I'll give inawera's lemon and FA's lemon Sicily a go. Just need to sort pear and peppermint now.

If you like tart flavours ( or the recipes you are making do- rather than sweetie types, ) the grapefruit at LT gets fantastic reviews. I had some in my basket, but went to add something else as you do , then my internet went down for a few minutes, and somehow lost the grapefruit, so not tried it yet. I wanted tart rather than sweet, and that is what I got with the lemon so perhaps a lot of their fruits are the same ?? Not sure but maybe something to bear in mind whilst browsing, the god damn things have a habit of jumping in your basket

Whatever you do, don't get capella's spearmint - it's got no taste whatsoever. Very disappointing I've had to order another spearmint from elsewhere. I've got lemon sicily coming but I won't be getting mine till the middle of March, same as the spearmint, have to wait for friends to bring these over to me. As for pear, never tried that flavour.

newdawn, FA peppermint is pretty good. I add it to my menthol mixes and other stuffy..stuff. I have Perfumers Apprentice Pear, but...I'm not that impressed - tastes artificial/chemically, so I'm going to see if Inawera stock it.
