just got a cool fire 2 in a trade
but the dreaded button is sticking /common fault by the looks of Google
anyway wanting to know has anyone eles dismantled the cool fire 2
looking at it buy unscrewing the cover of the top there is 2 notches on it that looks like it will screw of
thinking of making a wood and 2 nails the right size to fit in these slots
im just worried that the 510 connection is soldered to it ,,and dont want to break the seal of the board
please help
no vids any where showing a dismantle

I cannot help with dismantling the coolfire 2 but a word of caution if you do manage to get it apart? and you see anything resembling a pin DO NOT PULL IT!!!!p.s. Have you tried a bit of WD40 around the switch? |
