Has anyone tried the Kanger T3D? Any thoughts? I want something to replace 4 fairly cheap and not cheerful CE4s I started with. Can't afford 4 Protank 2s or Aerotanks. Myepack has them at £3.99

I have a T3S and its alright particularly handy as it holds 3ml but in ego sized form which means I get more portable juice for when I'm out and about I know they are not quite the same as what you are looking at but the one thing I do have an issue with is my itaste vv's sometimes can't read it and I get a 'Null' ohms reading so have to over tighten them down hard onto battery, I wouldnt be wanting to do that on my provari mini (which also doesnt pick it up) I might just have a dodgy tank, I only have the one, and as I mentioned mine is a T3S but its something to ask members about before buying - if this is a one off issue or a well known issue. The tank works fine with a normal ego battery.

Thanks Pepperty. That's one of the problems I'm getting with the cheap CE4s on my MVP2. I've seen several types that I could buy on Fastech, but I don't think these CE4s will last the delivery time!

Have you considered using an iclear16 in it? the heads last yonks - they are thirsty on juice but last out well. Are you looking at the T3d's because they use protank coils?

I have got a couple of 16s that came with the MVP2. They're fine, but I thought I might be able to recoil the T3Ds. I don't think they take the same heads as the Protank 2, so that is a downside.

ah, seems that T3s coil fits a protank but not the other way about I'd best order me some T3S coils then as I'll soon have 3 (fasttech cheapo) I really dont know if the T3D is as awkward as the T3S ? we probably need more member feedback, after all its a new number ( new modification) they may work a treat thinkingsmileyI only have the one as I bought a second hand bunch of tanks - to try out various types without breaking the bank, I like that they hold 3ml, when the iclear16 only hold 1.8 (so I ordered a couple more of fastech as they are stupid cheapo) I do have to faff around to get my itaste vv to recognise them but they work ok when I get connection I can see why you prefer to try another tank - thats got a rebuildable coil as it'll save money in the long run. Have you used evods? as they use protank coils

Thaks again Pepperty. No haven't tried the evods, perhaps I'll order 2 of each. The other one I was thinking about was the Sigelei Protank, that I've also seen for £2.99 link

that looks perfectly nice!! not much info on it though? and the term 'smoke oil' on the tank part made me laugh loads but at £3 you cant really go wrong I'd have thought.. I've a spare evod tank here, I'll happily post on to you as a freebie to play with? Do you have coil gear in, only I couldn't say what the coil in it is like...its 'mildly used'

Sorry Pepperty I had to pop out to go to the football (a creditable 1-1 draw for AFC Wimbledon against the League leaders, if you're in any way interested ) I thought they look okay for the price, but as you say I've searched and can't find much info. That's a very kind offer about the evod, I'll send you a PM. I haven't got any coil yet, that's the next job. I did ask my wife to get me a bag of cotton wool today. The size of it! I'll be 102 before I finish using it all

haha, I'm about to hunt down some organic cotton as am order some coiling stuff, saw a starter kit at the wire and mesh site which should suit me ( I'm trying to gee self up to meddle with a basic dripper to learn the different 'fingly fangly' recoil methods ) Cotton wool is good for wiping makeup off and I've got teenage girls so I'll have to hide mine as it wont last the month out if they spot it! ps. Got pm, replied & you're welcome to them!

Yes, I had spotted that GunJack, does make them slightly less tempting. Thanks Pepperty. I've just rewicked an old Protank 2 head, didn't have any wire so just removed the old wick and replaced it with cotton wool. Actually, I had two attempts, the first one I broke one of the coil legs taking the head apart, but the second was fine. I'm getting more flavour and vapour at 7W than I was at 10W. Must get some wire now. Do you have a link to your starter kit perchance?

As a fan of the T3S, I have to say a dual coil version is interesting. I use T3S heads in my T3S. It's no bother to me buying specific stuff. As long as I can get a few good days vaping, that's good enough to keep me from opening the re-wicking box of doom.

If you plan to move onto trying out protanks, then silica and ekowool and maybe mesh wicks then I think this is great for a tenner. But for now you probably only need the Kanthal 0.2mm (32awg) a 10 metre spool is £1.90 -- there are postage costs to add on? think ist just under £2 which is great if you are ordering a few bits
