Getting back to some sanity:

Anne, I don't think the RY4 is the reason. Only very spicy e-juice like cinnamon might cause the burning sensation.

Perhaps you got some e-juice on your lips? E-juice can cause a burning sensation on sensitive areas, such as around the eyes and the lips.

That could be the problem Jerry. I do sometimes tend to overfill the carts. as I'm using VG on its own at the moment and it's not reaching the wick as it's so thick. So I'm topping up, probably more often than necessary and pulling the blue foam up a bit with tweezers as it's sunk so far down in the cart, right away from the wick. Though why that's happening, I don't have a clue, unless it's the heavier consistency of the VG liquid. ???

Anne, the heavier consistency of VG does make it harder to wick.

I use an 80/20 (PG/VG) mix and the regular fluff in my carts and I have the same situation with the fluff sinking into the cart. I use a toothpick to fluff it up.

It's best not to overfill the cart as that can lead to a flooded atomizer and leaking e-juice. One way to tell if the atomizer is flooded, is the the vapor and throat hit will be greatly diminished and the atomizer will get hot.

That's exactly what's happening, hardly any vapor or throat hit and a hot atomizer. The VG was ordered in error and it's nearly gone now, it was only a 5ml bottle. It's gurgling too when I vape, but Scott (igetcha69) said in one of his videos that the 510 does tend to gurgle during vaping and not to worry, it's just the atomizer doing its job.

I sometimes suffer from sore/dry lips too. Not anythign to do with vapeign for me, I'va always suffered from it. It mostly happens when I'm over tired and not drinking enough or if I've had to much caffine. Then when I get some lipsalve on it tingles even worse for about 30 seconds (but I think that's the specific lipsalve I use cos it doesnt happen if I use just vaseline) then it's all good again

I'm glad I'm not the only one whom stays up until, stupid o' clock Jemima!

I always get cracked and sore lips when I have a cold, or in cold, windy weather. I usually use vaseline as I find lipsyl (or whatever it's called) too solid and doesn't spread very easily.
