Took delivery today of my Kayfun 3.1 clone and Caravela mod from Fasttech - delighted with the mod clone, although I can't work out how to 'safety' the switch without unscrewing the whole base unit - anyone help!? Here's a couple of pictures - first the mod in 18350 mode with my Russian 91% on top, perfect for stealth vaping, and then with the Kayfun clone. I need to disassemble the Kayfun and give it a good clean, but initial impressions are a great standard of construction, silky smooth threads and nice finish with no burrs or dints anywhere. On top of all this I had 10 x 50ml needle top bottles, a Protank v1, and 5 x Protank heads, which will be used until they fade and then will be microcoiled with cotton wool wicks as spares - I think these may get relegated to backups if the Kayfun performs as well as the Russian does! Well pleased

It looks lovely chykensa, although not as nice it your Russian 91% looked on my Nemesis Just so you know, you now owe me a micro coil. I will let you know when the Russian 91% arrives

Aha, you succumbed then!! I have every confidence that you will be as chuffed as I am with it when it arrives! I've been using it today with some 10mg Red Astaire and it's just sublime, and so small I can hide the majority of it in my hand and stealth vape to my heart's content!

The Russian is really easy to set up even for a klutz like me, with microcoil and cotton wool wick. The Caravela has a good heft to it, quite heavy, but in 18350 it's small enough to fit in the palm of my hand. Really pleased, and the whole setup costs about £30 - bargain!

Despite being a pianist, my hands are actually quite small. I bet there's not much in it zeldamum

If its the same as the kayfun clone I got from fastech watch out for the screws on the positive and negative terminals. The threads on mine stripped very quickly

chykensa, turn the firing switch clockwise, that will lock the switch. Lovely looking set up you got there, btw.

The threads on mine stripped very quickly Thanks for the heads up, was it the screws themselves which threaded, or the internal threads? I think I'll got to eBay and get me some replacement screws anyway in case of backups, although the Russian I got recently came with two spares.

It was the screws. What size did you order from ebay When the kayfun was working it was a cracking vape and very easy to set up
