PG/VG proportions Granny needs help again!

Hi All, I am getting on fine, new goodies arrived, juices steeping. Went on to Joosejuice and they ask you for PG/VG ratio?? I find original juices I got...Dekang from myepack are giving a bit too much throat hit so should I ask for 50/50 or what? Is it higher % of PG that gives throat hit? Have read thing on Forum but would still value advice. Have not tried Alchemists cupboard juices as yet, only came yesterday. Not a single Stinkie .....amazing

Yep. PG gives the throat hit mainly.

But it also can be affected by atty type and nic content.

But PG is yah main thing.

I think 50/50 is a good thing to start with - pg is for throat hit and flavour - vg for the vape - some here have allergic reactions to one or the other - fortunately I don't - and if you don't either - just experiment a bit

If you are ordering 10ml sample flavours I'd suggest getting a mix? from one at 50pg/50vg another at 60pg/40vg and 70pg/30vg and see which you prefer? Thats what I did. The higher pg give you the throat kick (which I still like occasionally) vg tends to give more vapour (which I prefer nowadays)

p.s anything with menthol/mint tends to give you a natural throat hit so you dont really need a high pg (throat hit) with menthols but it can be useful to have a couple of throat hitting flavours for when you keep thinking about the dreaded fags!

I cant vape high pg nowadays, my poor throat gets sore but sometimes I do like a little kick when I vape so I have a mix in my store box...and head for a menthol/fruity flavour

I believe the Dekang juices are very high PG. Some are 100%

Dekang are mostly 80/20. Id recommend 50/50 as a good startimg point it seems to suit most vapers
