Berkeley Menthol Newbie!

Hi!

I'd love to go through all the threads and check out all the advice but unfortunately due to work commitments I simply dont have the time. So....can anyone please answer me the following 2 questions;

1) Precisely WHAT do I need to purchase, eg model/make, equipment, etc, and
2) Can anyone recommend a UK supplier.

Please bear in mind that a) I am presently smoking approx 15 Berkeley Menthol cigs per day and although dont want to quit, am concerned about the effect its having on my health (hence my eager curiosity to start vaping) and b) I am not concerned on appearance and/or outlay - whatever is considered best will suffice!, oh and c) I would like to stay with menthol

Simple

1. Buy yourself a Riva kit with 2 batteries, and add some Boge or smoketech cartomisers
2. Look in the suppliers/kudos to suppliers section for recommendations and then go for a pick and mix selection of menthol flavours, I too like menthol but not tobacco, so a few till you find one you like. Any you don't lik you can sell/or swap here.
3. Give it a try and then ask questions.

Hi Nigwafc & Welcome! I have been vaping for almost 7 weeks with a Riva & my fav juice is menthol. I use the smokeymizers with it & it all works perfectly well for me, dont even want a cig Jason at Vape escape is very helpful & is one of the regulars on the forum.

Hi and welcome, would definitely recommend the Riva it's larger than a ciggie but the battery life is good.

Hello & welcome Nig

As others have advised, a Riva kit would be great for you to start with plus some menthol e-liquid to fill the cartridges with that comes with the kit. I'd also go with some Boge cartomisers as well.

Hi Nig and welcome... just a heads up when choosing menthol juice you can get just menthol or methol tobacco.... when i first started i just bought methol and it nearly blew my head off !! but luckily i also bought tobacco so i just mixed the two and got a nice menthol tobacco vape...oh and as for nicotine level i would suggest somewhere between 10-20mg ...good luck and ask as many questions as you like... people here are only too willing to help

wOW! A big thanks everyone for the quick replies - just what I was after!

As a result I've now ordered ;

from Vape - the Riva 1100 kit which comprises of 2 x 1100mAh Batteries, 2 x Ego Atomisers, 10 x Empty Cartridges, 1 x USB Charger, 1 x Mains Adapter, and which all comes Gift Boxed, a 5 pack of smokysizers, and a 5 pack of Boge 510 Standard Resistance Black and Steel.

from Paradise - 1 x 20ml 50/50 base medium strength (12-18mg) menthol tobacco juice, and 1 x 20ml 50/50 low strength (6-10mg) menthol tobacco juice

Hopefully they'll arrive in the next day or so - I'll let you all know how I get on next week.
