What's your go to set up for a holiday?

We're going in our VW to the Outer Hebrides in May, we'll be mostly wild camping so no hook up. I have a Pila IBC charger and the DC adapter for charging in a 12v car socket.
Might be worth checking if there is an accessory for your charger.

Thought about both of those in the past. Good briefcase solar panels with enough output to be useful are quite expensive. A small one would be ok just for the battery charging though.
Same goes for an inverter, it'll soon flatten the leisure battery if you try to run anything high wattage, but a low output one would be ok charging batteries. Both of those are another thing to load in the van, we seem to have to take everything but the kitchen sink...oh we do take one and space is at a premium in the van. The DC lead is small and only £10-£15, I can choose to use it on the van battery or leisure battery

We can go 3-4 days without hook up, as long as we're doing a bit of driving around, that's running running a fridge, using lights, not that we'll need them much, as up there as it never really get that dark in May, and keeping phone etc charged.

Two Riva 1100 batteries that I bought as part of a starter kit from Vape Escape when I first started vaping a year ago and two Scuba carto tanks with a dozen lr Boge cartos ... faff free and reliable.
