I have both a Russian 91% and Kayfun 3.1, both clones and both from FT. OK, they are clones, but both perform really well, the Kayfun must have a hidden leak as the juice seems to disappear almost as soon as I start vaping it , but the Russian would be my preferred choice, in fact I am soon to be buying another. It only whistles very occasionally and I love it, looks cracking on my Caravela clone, also from FT!

I was just seeing if there was any advantages in getting the Kayfun instead. I have ordered another Caravela clone in brass and will be followed by another 91 soon. Also ordered a nemi to see what all the fuss is all about these metal tubes! Loving the black nemi! One thing I have learnt with vape gear, stick to what works for you!

You are dead right there, Timbo!! I think I have now got to where I want to be. I can recoil and rewick a Russian quickly and efficiently, due to microcoiling Protank heads for four months. I love the Caravela in 18350 mode, it's dinky yet packs a punch. I have some 18500 batteries on the way which will be a great half-way house between dinky and some useful charge life, and have ordered some new Panasonic 18650s to use in my Vamo so that the older ones can become Caravela babes. I'm only running a 1.8ohm coil on the Russian and it packs plenty of flavour and vape - I'm not interested in sub-ohm vaping, and am worried that I don't know or understand enough about batteries and electricity principles to do this safely anyway. I am now using exclusively 8mg juice, having found that this works so well in the Russian and Kayfun that I don't need anything stronger. All saves pennies when I'm mixing my own I may get myself a Nemesis at some point, but I only have one mouth so will wait until I have some spare cash (haha, that won't happen any time soon, then!).

I think the Russia 91 is more like the Kayfun Lite (KFL or KFL +), rather than the 3.1?

Couldn't agree more! It certainly does perform very well in 18350 mode. Happy vaping!
