FT Taifun GT ss Tanks (diff threading)

Just had delivery this weekend from FT and in this delivery I had 2 ss tanks for my 2 hcigar taifun GT's, problem is that they have different threading than my taifun base and topcap, I have put in a ticket, for what it is worth, but thought I would mention on here just in case anyone is thinking of buying

FT sell 2 TAIFUN GT's and the S/S tank is only compatible with 1 of them. It says somewhere in the product description. I bought 2 GT's and wanted S/S tanks for them, nearly bought the wrong one's. It's highly likely that it won't fit yours.

Could be a dodgy SKU.

I bought something which was wrong, just wrong.

They checked the SKU and discovered they had 9,176,000 mobile phone cases with the wrong white stickers.

I got the cheaper taifun GT from FT along with the SS tank and they fit perfectly. It might be worth ordering that Taifun as well for £11.75 you cant go wrong really here's a link to the one I purchased www.fasttech.com/products/0/10006709/1527301-taifun-gt-style-rebuildable-atomizer-5-0ml

I've got one for my GT clone fits perfect ... I think it's the first GT they sold , slightly cheaper than the other one they now sell

Thanks for the link Dunny, i did not buy the gt aswell as i have 3 already and just wanted the ss tanks, if there are a couple of GT's with differing threads the tanks they sell should be labelled as A & B also

They only sell 1 SS tank and it has a link in the description saying what Taifun it is compatible with. Thats the only reason I got the correct one. Personally I would have preferred to get the slightly more expensive Taifun because it came with more spares etc.

Thanks for the reply richo71 I've been trawling the web there's some mention of rubbing the threads down. Shame really as its a cracking fine bit of kit!
I've ordered the other ss tank, I'll let you know..
