Do you have a mini protank - genuine one - box??

Strange request I know, but in the midst of another thread here -

rednutt can not find a code on her box, I can not remember what mine had on it, so I just wondered if anyone has bought a genuine mini protank 2 v2, and they still have the box, could they please check it and let us know what the code looks like or where it is etc.

I purchased one a couple of weeks ago from myepack & for the life of me I cannot find one on either mini or normal protank II boxes, there is one of them holographic type stickers you had to break to open them though

I can't find my mini boxes but I do have the Protank3 and areotank boxes. The code is on side of the internal box on both.

Ooooh this is interesting, so why would some not have a code on them? Seconds?

been having similar discussion with mrsmac about the group buy portank 3,s and as i have one from uk and one from focal you can defo see differences in the quality of finish and sizes so they ether good copies or seconds im my opinion
but they do work the same so its not all bad lol

I have double & triple checked my Protank II & Mini Protank II V2 boxes and zero, zip, zilch, nada .No code anywhere

I think some of the early Protank2 minis had the code on a card that came inside the box.

I know you didn't get your from china, but his ( the vendor ) are very cheap, so perhaps he did?

Mine definitely had a code, and my memory somewhere deep inside told me it was like a scratch panel that I did scratch to investigate but I never checked it up.
This was what I told rednutt to look for , but then wondered if I had dreamt the whole thing as she couldn't find it.

Now I am wondering why some do not have the code.
Is it a new thing? Or are they seconds? I believe they are genuine, but perhaps they just didn't make the grade.

I have one in my basket at a couple of places, but now I am seriously wondering.

yes the box is identical 
im an engineer and as such when 2 things are put in frount of me i can tell the diff (cant speel to save my life)LOL
but there are dofo large diferences in the size of the top cap,the hole for the drip tip,the tube/chimney inside(the focal one has brass sowing on the bottom were it has been worked after chrome plating)and the corners are not radiused 
i could go on lol
but the 2 are defo different
