It's a common issue with all ego style batteries. Just one of those things, the connector is usually pressed in rather than threaded so a bit of pressure can make it come apart. I guess but please advise is that the same then, if I buy a twist for £25 or a fastech vv for £10? I had a twist come apart on me at xmas, but binned it cos I was scarred to use it, today I had little choice and decided to go for it, but scared to charge it Yes its the same. Ego style is basically any battery that looks like an ego, be it fatter, longer, vv, etc. The top connectors are almost always just pressed in when they're manufactured.

Why do they come apart so easily?? I am actually now wondering if it is cheaper to buy cheaper . Steve (VapeStorm) I'm sorry I didn't mean to upset you

Sammy you wont have upset steve he is like me skin like a rhino they come apart so easily because they are pressed together in manufacture but if it worked after you pressed it back together then that shows that the wires are ok so it will be safe to recharge it

Mine has been like that for a few months now. It still comes out a little bit every now and then, I just push it back in, still charges fine. All the ego style batteries are like that.

The itaste vv has rivets to hold it together so should be stronger. I love mine got 2 and 2 new spares unused. About the same size as an ego and not as much as you paid for the ego battery. The clearo's you have will all fit it too so just get the battery when your ready to replace.

sammy13, if you want a more robust out'n'about battery, look at the X6 from fasttech:- www.fasttech.com/products/1368500they're great and pretty robust, I've got one and am planning on another (or two;) ) for the very purpose of out'n'about - they fit into your hand just nicely too... 3 voltage settings and 1300 mAh, and at £9:16 each, a bargain

I just bought a twist before I saw this Can you use an evod/ mini p with them or do they need an adapter? Also what kind of charger does it take, I can't see , unless it takes batteries ???

The itaste vv is less than £15.00 too sammy13 although only 800mah lasts as long as a higher mah ego and really good I have two one charging one using + 2 unused spares. All I've used since end of Sept and never had a moments problem. www.fasttech.com/products/1411/10004594/1363600

Protank 1-2-3-aero all fit perfectly, I'll just go check the miniPtanks and evods..... ......yes, both evod and miniPtank work, just be a bit careful with the evod as the well around the connector is quite deep
