Someone else can probably help a bit further, I've not been doing this too long myself...

Steeping depends on the flavours really marky . . . fruits and mints are pretty good to go after a couple of days. Dessert types can take longer, but there's no wrong or right really, if it tastes fine to you then that's all that matters. Though some flavours are considerably nicer given time I think, what have you bought?

Hi Marky the fruits and menthol should only take a few days the tobacco a few weeks. Have you seen how to make your own menthol concentrate? It's so easy methol crystals from chemist £2.00 about. Fill into a 10ml bottle top up with pg 3 seconds in microwave to dissolve shake and good to use. Very very strong so no more than 1% to start.

Why not invest in a small milk frother under a tenner from argos and mix your juices with this after mixing supposed to reduce steeping times.

Lol . . . no worries marky. The only one I'd personally leave for a week would be the Virgina Tobacco, Menthol is pretty much good to go from mixing . . . Fruits I'd leave for a couple of days at least.

I didn't find the coffee frother made any difference to my mixes but I only mix fruits so they don't take long anyway.

There's no substitute for time and a little patience IMO marky . . . whatever anyone suggests, it's like the difference between a forced and naturally ripened tomato for me.

One of the two things I've bought which have proved much more useful than I anticipated was a Bryan's drawing needle from the wonderful Leisure Liquids folks. www.leisureliquids.com/Mixing-Accessories/syringes-needles/bryans-drawing-needleGreat for decanting Snake Oil into smaller bottles and (as I am soon to discover) lifting VG. The other, incidentally, is a piece of lightly coloured felt (fake?) from HobbyCraft which stops those little screw's from rolling onto the carpet and vanishing in a malicious puff of spite No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted
