Thanks for all the nice comments, I now have a magnetic battery cover and forgot to mention that for flat-top batteries it has reverse battery protection. A couple more pics.

Seems to be i don't know him personally, but having been chatting online he seems competent and knows his stuff, I don't hang out there much so you will have to decide.  I do know he just bought a milling maching and believe he's done other mods, go and have a poke around that forum.

Since it's my 2,000th post I thought I would bump this and show that it's still going strong after six months of every day abuse with a couple of pics from VapeFest last weekend, dropped it a few times and put the battery in the wrong way a couple of times. It's got some scratches like my old Zippo lighter had, but if it was power coated or painted it would look a mess.
