Netty your canny, i do all my own decorating i just get the hubby to do the passing of things and measuring , iv tiled, layed all our laminate flooring, wallpapering, drilling you name it i do it lol!!

I 'allow' my useless,er i mean thingy to paint the ceiling,thats about it as he tends to break everything he touches.

Its a roller blind i am trying to take down and it seems stuck.

The blind is normally fixed via 2 brackets at each end.un-screw 1 and the blind should slide off???????

Netty the roller blind should just lift out of the brackets and then you unscrew the brackets

Bel and River,yes it was on 2 brackets but was stuck,wouldnt be sprised if he who put it there used super glue.Managed get it down now without too much damage.Made it harder as its not easy to get to,the sinks in front of it and then the units,knees are killing now,tut.Think will leave the other one til tomorrow,lol.
Of course the new blinds have got no chance of slotting into the old fittings,have they?
